Amongst the smoke... (A Modern RP)

The Lighter flame glowed in the dark cold air. Olli was on the balcony of his chillout room. There was hardley any noise, only the muffled noises of the main street a couple of blocks away. It was a nice summer night. Olli was alone, his father had recently gone to Thailand for a few months on a vacation with his new fiancee.

Every night Olli came to his balcony and thought just how much he missed his high school years. They were so simple. Now it felt like everyone he once knew was gone, and he hated it. There was no more excitement for him anymore. He felt empty and he needed to do something about it.

Olli finished his cigerette and threw the stub over the balcony. He walked inside and grabbed his jacket. He picked up his cigerettes off the side, took his hat off and walked down the spiraling staircase. He walked down into the kitchen and grabbed his keys and a strange looking rectangular gold tin off the side. He shoved both in his pocket and walked out the front door.

It wasn't that dark yet for this late at night. Thank God for summer. Kjolmar was casually making his way towards his favorite nightclub, all dressed up and everything, when a stub of a cigarette hit him right on the nose. He looked up to see where it came from, but saw nothing but empty balconies. Kjolmar felt annoyed, irritated to say the least. He kept looking up while taking a few steps backwards, hoping he would spot someone after all. He wasn't sure what he'd do or say exactly, but letting it go wasn't an option. Whichever the cause, the person wasn't there anymore.

Kjolmar let out a tiny sigh of annoyance and got back off the streets. His mind turning back to the nightclub, he continued to walk, only to bump into a guy that just walked out the front door. Clueless of the fact that this was the same guy from the cigarette, Kjolmar felt a new frustration coming up after all. "Hey, watch it!"

As Olli walked down the street, he managed to bump into someone. This was typical clumsy Olli, but just as Olli was about to apologize he heard a very harsh stubborn voice bellow in his face. "Hey, Watch it!" said a guy who stood there smartly dressed with a look of frustration on his face. Olli retained the apology now. He hated arrogant people and this guy had stepped up tot he wrong
guy. Olli stood upright and looked at the almost intimidating guy.

"I'm sorry, but I must be mistaken. You were either talking to someone who is behind me, or you are an incompetent little guy with little man syndrome. Now which was it?" He looked at the guy again and laughed a dismissing laugh, still smiling shook his head and reached into his pocket. He pulled out a cigarette and lit it up, making sure he exhaled the first drag into the guys face.

Upon a closer look, Kjolmar wasn't that surprised. He judged easily on looks and this guy screamed lower class all over. When the man insulted him, surprisingly witty, Kjolmar made a fist with his right hand. However, he realized that he was wearing one of his best outfits. Regardless of the outcome of a potential fight, his outfit would get filthy or ripped. Kjolmar calmed down and let it go.

Unfortunately, that was the moment that the other guy decided to blow smoke in his face. Kjolmar was a man that could usually keep his emotions under control, but this angered him to a great extent. He grabbed the guy by the collar and pushed him against the wall.
"What is your bloody problem? Bumping in to someone is one thing, but blowing smoke in one's face is plain disrespect."
Kjolmar narrowed his eyes and looked the guy straight in the eyes with a hostile look, as if he could have an outburst any second now. It was an odd sight, seeing a suited man about to lose control.

Before Olli, could even take another drag of his cigarette it had dropped out of his hand and he was against the wall, this suited up guy in front of his face with a angry expression of his face. It was clear that this guy was about to snap. Olli's smile grew from ear to ear and he began to chuckle a sadistic laugh. "You think you scare me. Your wrong. You think your better than me. Your wrong. All your doing right now is showing that you can't win with words. Now your not going to hit me, because your in a suit, probably on your way out, maybe hoping to pull a nice girl. Now how do you expect to do that with a ripped suit" Olli shoved the guy off him.

Olli picked up his cigarette and shoved it back in his mouth. "How do you deserve to be respected by people with this sort of attitude. You hardley respect yourself." Olli suddenly had an idea. "See your problem I guess, is that you don't enjoy little things. If you give it a chance, I will show you where your going all wrong." Olli pulled out a cigarette from his box, on the underside, out of eyesight was olli's number. He gave it to the man "Here take this, If you need me, youll find me." Olli then walked off down the street with a huge grin on his face.

Olli knew the guy would probably snap the thing in half and throw it away, but he loved winding people up to the max.

The guy smiled in a way that Kjolmar found somehow strangely familiar. It reminded him of his own pleasure when he had made someone lose control. Damn punk seemed to have similar personality traits. When he mentioned the risk of a ripped suit, Kjolmar's feeling of recognition grew larger. He loosened his grip and the irritation slowly made room for fascination. Of course, he'd never admit that at this point.

Then the guy gave his phone number in the form of a cigarette while giving an odd speech. Kjolmar's fascination for this person grew. "Thank you for that psycho-analysis, Dr. Freud." he said with a sarcastic tone. While the guy left the scene, Kjolmar put the cigarette in his pocket.
Kjolmar didn't smoke, not anymore anyway. But he had a feeling he shouldn't throw this one out just yet. He would have, if it weren't for the fascination which he couldn't explain.

"Hey!" he called out for him. "Got a name, rude boy?"

As Olli walked away, he heard the voice shout out to him. "Got a name, rude boy?". Olli smiled as he turned around. "Olli, Olli Lucas." He walked a few steps forward and glanced at the man who was now not so angry, in fact he seemed unusually calm. "How about you?" He asked.

Suddenly Olli's phone vibrated. He pulled it out of his pocket and saw that he had a text from Dec, Olli's mate. 'Where are you! You fucking lame ass son of a bitch. You best not bale' Olli laughed and threw his phone back in his pocket. He was on his way to Dec's now. They were about to get ready and head out on the town. It was Friday Night, Friday was payday.

He glanced back up at the lad in front of him. He waited for an answer off of him. Olli knew it was worth waiting for, he didnt think he'd seen the last of the suited man.
